Grožnjan

Grožnjan is located above the Mirna river valley on a hill at an altitude of 228 meters. The medieval urban complex has remained largely untouched to this day. It is the natural basis for the intense and interesting life that Grožnjan lives today.

Every year at the beginning of May, Grožnjan’s alleys and squares experience a transformation and turn into a real artistic beehive: summer music academies for young people, art, dance ,drama workshops, fine and dramatic arts ect..

In addition to the multitude of artists who come to the city every year, frequent guests are also gourmets and wine lovers who visit local restaurants and agrotourism sites.

In addition to Croatian and Italian, which are in official use, and Slovenian, which is not a problem on the streets of Grožnja, many other world languages ​​are also heard.
